Alexander, B.A. (Hons)

He attended university in Bristol (UK) where he was awarded a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages and Information Systems, in 1991. Following this he did the CertTEFLA Intensive 4-week course at International House Piccadilly, which he completed with very good results. He has been teaching English for the last 10 years all over Europe: in a university in France, as a private teacher for a company in Munich, Germany, and in Italy in a university. He is a white-water kayaking instructor. He also enjoys mountain biking, skiing and swimming.

Beth, M.A.

Beth holds an MA in TEFL from San Francisco State University in California. She has been teaching EFL since 1993, and has been based in Prague, the Czech Republic, since 1996. In addition to teaching the full range of language skills, she has also developed courses in business presentations and academic composition, including designing and launching an online writing course for the Czech Technical University. One of her passions is playing the Appalacian Mountain dulcimer.

Gill, B.A. (Hons)

Gil gained his expertise in Business Language training while working in the UK and France with many prestigious companies in the financial and telecommunications sectors. He holds advanced qualifications in English language teaching to adults, Computer Science and Business Law. Gil is one of Englishtown's lead teachers.

Filippa, B.A.

Filippa taught English for 5 years in Japan after starting her teaching career in Australia. She was a supervisor and teacher trainer for a large network of English conversation schools throughout Japan. Filippa has internationally recognised teaching qualifications and is now back in Australia enjoying teaching at Englishtown.
