David B. Yoffie
Professor David B. Yoffie is the Max and Doris Starr Professor of International Business Administration at Harvard Business School. Professor Yoffie is currently chairman of the Competition and Strategy department and chairman of the Advanced Management Program, where he teaches competitive and corporate strategy. Professor Yoffie is on the Board of Directors of Intel Corporation, E-Ink Corporation, Englishtown.com, and the National Bureau of Economic Research. He also serves on the Executive Committee for Harvard's Center for International Affairs. Over the last ten years, Professor Yoffie has lectured and consulted in more than 25 countries around the world with large industrial and service firm as well as governments and international organizations. When appointed to Intel's board in 1989, he was the youngest outside director of America's largest 150 industrial corporations.

George M.C. Fisher
Director – George M.C. Fisher is a founding Director of the Company. Mr. Fisher served as Chairman of the Board, Eastman Kodak Company, from January to December 2000. Before this he held the Kodak positions of Chairman, President, and CEO (December 1993 to January 1997), and Chairman and CEO (January 1997 to January 2000).

Before joining Kodak, George Fisher was chairman and chief executive officer of Motorola, Incorporated. Fisher joined Motorola in 1976 after ten years in research and development at Bell Telephone Laboratories. In April 1984, He was appointed senior vice president and assistant general manager of the Communications Sector. Mr. Fisher was elected senior executive vice president and deputy to the chief executive officer in July 1986, and a director of Motorola in August 1986. He became president and chief executive officer in 1988, and was elected chairman of the board and chief executive officer in 1990.

Fisher is chairman of the National Academy of Engineering and is a member of The Business Council. He is a member of the boards of the University of Illinois Foundation and the U.S.-China Business Council, having served as chairman of both of these organizations from 1997-1999. He is a member of the Council on Competitiveness, having served as chairman from 1991 to 1993. He is an elected fellow of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences and a member of the World Wildlife Fund National Council and George Eastman House Board of Trustees.

Fisher is a member of the boards of directors of AT&T, Eli Lilly & Company, Delta Air Lines, Inc. and General Motors Corporation. He is a past member of the boards of American Express Company, Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing, Brown University, and The National Urban League, Inc.

He has been active in U.S./International trade issues through advisory groups to the U.S. Trade Representative and the U.S. Secretary of Commerce. Currently he participates on the President's Advisory Council for Trade Policy and Negotiations (ACTPN). Formerly, he was chairman of the Industry Policy Advisory Committee (IPAC).

Born in Anna, Illionois, he received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering (1962) at the University of Illinois, and both a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering (1964) and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics (1966) from Brown University.

Orit Gadiesh
As Chairman of the Board of Bain & Company, the global strategy consulting firm, Ms. Gadiesh has worked with hundreds of CEOs and senior executives of major international companies on strategy development and the implementation of change within the corporation. Prior to joining Bain & Company, Ms. Gadiesh served in the office of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army. An active board and council member at the Harvard Business School, the Wharton School, the Kellogg School, and the HBS Visiting Committee, she is also a member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and the Massachusetts Business Roundtable where she serves as Treasurer. Additionally, she is a member of the Board of Directors of The Peres Institute for Peace, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and is a member of the Harvard Medical School Advisory Council for Cell Biology and Pathology. She is on the Board of Directors for Digitas Inc., Think Tools, Zurich, as well as Board of Directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. She has also joined the Board of Directors for the Governor’ s Board of Economic Advisors and the Board of Directors for Englishtown.

Philip Hult
Chief Executive Officer – Philip Hult’s involvement with Englishtown dates back to the Company’s origins in 1993, from which time he has been actively involved in the strategic decisions of the business. He officially assumed the CEO post in January 2000, after two years as President of EF Education, EF’s $300 million study abroad division. There Mr. Hult transformed the 1,000+employee organization from its original product-centered structure into a geographically oriented organization. Prior to his term as President of EF Education, Mr. Hult served as Founder and President of EF English First, EF’s local language school division. Mr. Hult created and grew the business to over 60 local English schools in 11 countries and to a leading brand position in a majority of its markets. Mr. Hult sits on the board of EF

Ron Nordin
Ron Nordin joined Atlas Venture in 1998. Previously, he served as CEO of SQA, a venture-backed software company focused on testing tools for client-server applications. Ron took SQA public in 1995, and the company subsequently merged with Rational Software in 1997. Ron also served as Senior Vice President Marketing at Cognos, a leading supplier of business intelligence software. Ron brings more than fifteen years of senior-level management experience in the information technology field, with a particular expertise in business-to-business applications and services, the Internet and software-related start-ups. Ron currently serves on the Boards of Context Integration, Inc., eRoom Technology, Inc., LumaPath, Inc., SupplyWorks, Inc.
